Overview
Aquatic Hatchery Production is the study of fish hatcheries and all the Aquatic organisms as well as Aquaculture and breeding programs, rearing techniques and any production related to it. The department works on some researches in this field in order to develop modern methods to help cope with the current hatchery, breeding and aquaculture problems.
Mission
The Aquatic Hatchery Production Department aims to raise the efficiency of workers in the field of aquaculture (include: aquatic organisms hatcheries, Aquatic animal physiology, breeding and rearing programs and culture system), and to provide scientific and practical advice and training that help develop the aquaculture systems and grant scientific degrees from the diploma, professional master’s, master’s and an academic doctorate in the production of hatcheries and aquatic farms and the production of scientific and practical cadres fully familiar with all areas of reproduction and culture from physiology, biology, larval rearing, breeding program, improvement of breeds, design and management of aquatic hatcheries and farms, transfer and handling of fry and fingerlings, reproduction, the economic feasibility of establishing hatcheries and aquatic farms, and everything related to
