Objectives:


The Sector aims to:

  • Prepare researchers and scientific staff with the competence to conduct scientific research in various fields of aquaculture.
  • Prepare scholars and researchers for postgraduate diplomas, master's, and doctoral degrees.
  • Develop the knowledge and skills of graduate students to keep pace with the modern development and proficiency in the English language and increase their computer skills.
  • Facilitate researchers to conduct scientific research in cooperation with local or foreign agencies.
  • Work on the interaction of the faculty members with the external community and send them abroad to benefit from the various scientific experiences and schools.
  • Notify postgraduate students and staff of various scientific conferences and seminars to attend or participate in scientific research.
  • Urge the conclusion of cooperation protocols with foreign countries and parties for exchanging faculty members, conducting joint research, and conducting international training courses for graduate students and faculty members.

 


Activities and tasks:

  • Organize the admission of postgraduate students to the institute from registration to graduation.
  • Follow up with graduate students to complete their periodic reports.
  • Manage all the data of graduate students on the MIS information management system on the university's Internet.
  • Conduct all statistics and reports related to graduate studies.
  • Carry out examination tasks, including preparing tables and distributing student committees and signatures.
