In Line with the Institute of Fish Farming’s Commitment to Community Engagement
As part of its dedication to community outreach and in collaboration with the University’s Communications and Conferences Administration, the Institute of Fish Farming welcomed an educational field visit on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, for a group of students from Suez Canal Authority School.
The visit was held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Nasser Said Mandour, President of the University, and under the general supervision of Professor Dr. Dina Abu Al-Maati, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The students were warmly received by:
- Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Tabie, Dean of the Institute.
- Prof. Dr. Mervat Ali Mohamed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
- Ms. Gehan Arit, Secretary of the Institute.
- Dr. Aya Arafat, Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Food and Nutrition.
- Dr. Sara Ahmed El-Mahdi, Teaching Assistant in the Department of Food and Nutrition.
The students were guided through various institute facilities, including the ornamental fish tanks, the hatchery unit, and the fish farming unit. Additionally, they toured the production units as part of an informative and engaging experience.
