Vision
The library looks forward to being the source of intellectual and civilizational enlightenment, including its science and cultural information, financial and human potentials, and supporting services that advance knowledge and research in the aquaculture area. Moreover, activation in scientific research contributes effectively to developing the institute's educational and research processes.
Mission
Supporting the educational and research processes through:
- Providing the latest various information sources to meet staff members and researchers' needs.
- Processing, organizing, ordering, and streaming those resources besides library other services according to a methodology based on library specifications and latest practices.
- Offering continuous training and learning chances for users through continuous learning and training to take advantage of information resources.
- Enhance cooperation between the library and other faculties' libraries through General Library Administration because it's linked to the Egyptian Universities Consortium.
Library Services:
The library provides different services.
- Resources for information and periodicals.
- Resources for electronic information, digital library services, and Egyptian Bank.
- Search through global databases and information networks.
- Direct relations with the local scientific publishing house.
- Electronic photocopy and print.
- Current awareness and reference services.
- Continuous technical training for users.
- Public relations that communicate and advertise for the library.
- Presence of a database program to search for the library's contents using a method that matches the search on the library consortium website in case of internet connection breakdown.
- Provide previous exams in the library and on the internet to enable students to study different exam versions.
