In the Framework of Strengthening Academic Cooperation and International Exchange of Expertise
Suez Canal University, represented by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Nasser Saeed Mandour, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saad Zaghloul, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, received Dr. Maggie Nassef, Executive Director of the Fulbright Egypt Commission, accompanied by Ms. Nehal Salah, Senior Program Officer, and Eng. Eman Sami, representative of the Ministry of Higher Education.
They were also received by Dr. Noha Ibrahim El-Banna, Assistant Professor of Fish Diseases and Care, Head of the Department of Aquatic Animal Disease Control at the Institute, and one of the alumni of the Fulbright Egypt (2024/2025 cohort).
The meeting witnessed fruitful discussions on ways to enhance scientific cooperation and encourage faculty members and researchers to benefit from international academic exchange opportunities offered by the program.
During the introductory seminar, Dr. Noha El-Banna delivered a lecture in which she shared her experience as a Fulbright alumna, highlighting the personal, scientific, and research skills she gained. She emphasized the program’s significant role in building scientific capacity, supporting academic excellence, and developing research competencies.
This meeting reflects the university’s vision toward global academic openness and the development of leading research cadres capable of competing at both regional and international levels.
